Getting to Pinewoods
You might think North Norfolk is miles away and a bit of a feat to get to. How wrong one can be! As long as you don’t mind the odd tractor now and again, you’ll find travelling to us a joy with beautiful fields and pretty villages to enjoy along the way.

Travelling by bike
Wells-next-the-Sea is on National Cycle Route 1.
Travelling by train
The nearest train stations are Cromer (25 miles) and Sheringham (19 miles) on the Bittern Line from Norwich. There are direct trains to Norwich from London and the Midlands as well as Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
King’s Lynn (27 miles) has direct trains from London via Cambridge and Ely.
Connecting buses from all stations run to Wells-next-the-Sea.
Travelling by bus
There is a frequent bus service to Wells-next-the-Sea from King’s Lynn via Hunstanton and another coming from Fakenham via Wells. There is also a frequent service from Cromer via Sheringham to Wells-next-the-Sea.
From Cromer or Sheringham, take the Coasthopper to Wells. Alight at The Buttlands and walk around 23 minutes (1.1 miles) along Beach Road to Pinewoods.
From Fakenham, take the 36 Coastliner towards Kings Lynn. Alight at The Ark Royal stop. From here, it’s around a 19 minute walk (0.9 miles) along Beach Road to Pinewoods.

We are roughly 1 hour from both Norwich and King’s Lynn.
