Our 2021 Pinewoods highlights

The start of January is a popular time to look back at the previous year’s highlights, and we wanted to share these with you: our guests. Despite the lockdown and uncertainty the pandemic brought, 2021 was a wonderful year at Pinewoods. With many people opting for staycations, we welcomed new visitors to Pinewoods, as well as guests who have been coming for years and our owners too.

Our site wardens and gardening team commented on how much of a treat it was to see so many happy customers back enjoying the area, though they did say they didn’t get to speak to as many guests as they’d like because the grass was growing too quickly!

The friendly staff in reception shared that sentiment, saying “It has been a joy welcoming back many familiar faces. We have also had the pleasure of meeting many new customers during the 2021 season.”

Our sales team have had a great year too, providing many families with a new holiday home in what they term “caravan mania!” We hope these caravan holiday homes will be a happy place to enjoy for many years to come.

General Manager, Darren, joined the Pinewoods team early in 2021. He said, “My highlight has been a combination of being embraced by the existing, experienced team and also in welcoming in new starters, bringing a fresh aspect to our operation and future plans.”

We were also thrilled to be awarded the Platinum ‘Loo of the Year’ Award! What a title to hold!

We hope our visitors made many happy memories during their stays last year, and that your holidays in Wells have become one of your 2021 highlights.
